• In this age of animated films that could swoon you off your feet, Norm of the North is leaves a lot to be desired in the animation department. Though the dancing and twerking Polar Bear and a trio of cute lemmings farting and tinkling in an aquarium is funny, animated movies need more and Norm of the north just doesn’t do justice to this more.

  • If you are a sports movie enthusiast, Race is an ideal watch. There are several moments of anticipation, anxiety and celebration as Owens takes to the field. Sports lover or not, you cannot help but cheer for his victory.

  • Reshammiya is definitely in his best shape yes, in this film with a ripped six-pack. While the performances of the leads could have been better, the film shines with its music, something which is undoubtedly Reshammiya’s strong suit and the songs are worth a listen. The glass shattering and bullet swooshing actions scenes coupled with Raghu’s badass moves keep you hooked to your seat.

  • A beautifully portrayed romantic drama, the movie broods on the insecurity struggles of a couple, 45 years into their marriage. The brilliant performances by the lead actors and the emotional baggage of the story make it worth a watch, especially for romance lovers.

  • If you want to see some good acting, you should definitely go for this movie. The story of this movie is very straightforward but it has been told in a creative way. The director has managed to add some good twists to the plot, that will keep you engaged throughout the movie.

  • Watch Gods of Egypt to witness the notions of an infallible, omnipotent God being destroyed. Watch it for the beauty and grace of Hathor. Watch it for the disarming diatribe between Horus and Bek, and the transformation of their disdain into friendship. But most of all, watch it to bring back the cynic in you, from the dark side, into the light.

  • Watch it for Leonardo DiCaprio’s phenomenal performance. Rumor has it that the vegetarian actor actually ate raw bison meat for this film! The Academy Awards love characters like this that elicit sympathy, and Leo is the likeliest choice for the Oscar. The movie deserves a watch for Iñárritu’s direction and the cinematography, too.

  • Steers makes an attempt to strike a balance between the classic novel and it’s zombified version. However, it tends to fall flat at times.

  • Direct Ishq did provide inane entertainment , but failed to live up to the expectations of the audience. The melodramatic acting did not help and the feeble attempts at humor barely elicited a ‘meh’ from the audience. But if you’re a Bollywood entertainment lover, Direct Ishq may just be the thing you’re looking for.

  • The culmination, though not remarkable, doesn’t feel like a waste of time. Ishq Forever won’t make you fall in love, but it will certainly not make you fall out of it. Watch it to experience exceptional equanimity.
