What We Did on Our Holiday is a film that promised a good deal and delivered even more. It is briskly paced, well shot and complements the gorgeous scenery adeptly. This is a hilarious film with a lot of heart, but will also have you shedding a tear or two as the story progresses.

Fans of crime dramas and thrillers will enjoy Lateef, that has an abundance of both. If you are a fan of the genres and want to see Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s performance, watch it this weekend.

Even though Maggie has been wrongly categorized as thriller or horror, it has pulled off drama better than any other film. The void that is formed due to the lack of action is efficiently filled by the emotional music and the few but powerfully delivered dialogues. Apart from a few flaws, the film is a unique display of life, love and loss set in the backdrop of a ‘necroambulishm’ (We’re too scared to use the Z word) infected town. Grab a bucket of popcorn and take those tissues not to hide your face in, but to wipe your tears.

A complete entertainer, Tanu weds Manu has returned with a bang! The film caters to audiences across all age groups and mindsets. A complete package with edge-of-the-seat entertainment. Tanu Weds Manu (2011) was a film worthy of a sequel and Rai doesn’t disappoint.

A cross-over film which has its moments, but is bogged down by its screenplay and acting.

The first two-thirds of the film, the “getting to know each other” scenes of Cooper and Lawrence with the funny take on their mental conditions – just love it! But then the film turns into a drab predictable mushy rom-com. All of a sudden you feel you’re watching a different film with different characters even though it’s the same set of actors. A clichéd ending, yes seems like all mental illnesses can be cured by a big dance number. Quite trite, Russel takes the easy way out.
