The movie takes you to the core of the jungle and gives you the taste of the wild. However, you may feel that the visual effects and the action sequences could have been better, as they don’t give you that adrenaline rush you would expect while watching an adventurous movie. Yates has also neatly timed Tarzan’s and Jane’s flashbacks that give you a glimpse of the original story, which creates the foundation of this story.
-
The movie fails to make you develop an emotional connect with the central characters but what keeps it going are the spotless performances by Ashutosh and Jimmy. Besides, the movie gives you a slight peek into the Muzaffarnagar riots and how fanatics like these still exist in our country. It also shows how politics and religion are two major forces in India, which when mixed and used wrongly can result in major chaos and unrest. Watch this if such movies are your cup of tea.

Watch the movie if you miss your school days and want to see a feel good school life story. But this time, besides the school life, be ready to get a glimpse of what is corroding the education system of the country from within.

Raman Raghav 2.0 deserves a watch mainly for Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s superb performance. Even if you’re not a fan of dark themes and graphic violence, carry a paper bag, but do not miss this movie!
-
The movie extends beyond necessity, and the final reveal does not create the excitement it means to. With on-going plans for a third movie, the franchise seems to have fallen prey to toxic sequelitis, and we can only hope that 3 works out to be the lucky number for the magicians.

While most people might watch it merely out of curiosity, for the ones who need a reason, please watch it for the whole package. The performances are brilliant, the story is good, the execution is very believable, and will make you think hard. Watch it to understand the repercussions of a drug-riddled population and the starkness of the narrative. Try Udta Punjab this weekend- you will not regret it.
-
Do not expect an intelligent story or a breakthrough performance. Simply watch this movie if you enjoy the rush of being scared out of your wits.

Most of the scene transitions are off. This ends up affecting the narration, which already had nothing to boast about with its mediocre plot. Just over two hours, the film doesn’t have any humour element. It is sad that the sublime efforts gone into post production were in vain due to its disappointing overall end result as a story.
