In spite of its flaws, Parched manages to win your heart. It's not the typical run-of-the-mill Bollywood movie. The exchanges between the leading ladies will make you smile. It's also great to see how women from the village break free to live life on their own terms. Bollywood movies could easily do with more characters like Rani and Lajjo.

Madaari was made with the noble intention of showcasing why the public needs to fight against the corrupt system. But somewhere, it gets lost in trying to be a suspense thriller. It's not as good as Kamat's Mumbai Meri Jaan or Drishyam, but is still the best Hindi film to watch this weekend.

In the recent past, there have been very few Bollywood movies that made you leave the theatre with a smile. Dhanak manages to do so and that's a good enough reason for you to watch it this weekend.
