• Phobia makes for an engaging weekend watch. It isn’t high on gore but will still thrill all the same…

  • Go watch this short, sensitive film that gives out the message that parenthood has nothing to do with one’s sexuality. That all every family needs is a little more love to make the scars heal…

  • You don’t feel like you’re watching an Indian production, so slick are the sequences…

  • The USP of Himesh starrers was their music but he’s been very patchy here. It’s unnecessarily loud and not up to his top notch standards and jars with the narration. All-in-all, Teraa Surroor is strictly for diehard Himesh fans. Let’s hope for his sake that he manages to find enough of them…

  • The small, incidental changes in his day-to-day behavior are perfectly portrayed by the actor.  Charlotte Rampling was a celebrated English beauty in her prime and still looks gorgeous. Courtenay is good but this is her film.

  • Jha, who has written the film, ends up giving the better role to himself and surprisingly carries it off too. His metamorphosis is somewhat abrupt But he makes you feel you’re watching an actual middle-aged cop struggling with a troubled conscience and desperately trying to set things right. Thankfully, Jha doesn’t go over the top, keeping it controlled.

  • We don’t make broad comedies which border on the absurd and it’s good of Abhishek Sharma to attempt a political satire that does tickle the ivories. A little more attention to editing and tauter screenplay would have made it a better film for sure…

  • …watch Loveshhuda to recollect and smile back at your own drunken binges. Watch it with your gang and then proceed to have a few for the road…you might just need them…

  • The plot is as convoluted as they come, loaded to the brink with melodrama.

  • Akshay Kumar, in a departure from brain dead comedies, brings to life a man who must let go of his arrogance to fight a battle where rules change by the minute. It’s Akshay’s most honest portrayal till date, where he lets his eyes and silences do the talking.
