First half of the film is decent and sets up a mood. Second half takes a diversion from what we prepare after watching 1st half. It becomes a serious film from then onwards. Plus points of the film are Anushka, visuals, music and production values. A single plot without deviation would have worked well for the movie. The messages, fitness facts and motivational episodes conveyed through film are good. We need to wait and see how common audiences embrace the film.

Saving the world is a concept that’s very ambitious in Telugu cinema. Going to Africa and saving the world is something that needs to be executed with a lot of deftness and should be made sure that audiences don’t lose connect with the goal of hero. VV Vinayak who is regarded as star director has taken an international backdrop to direct this movie. Though he has succeeded in launching Akhil as a star with huge potential, he should have taken care in treatment and logic. We need to wait and see how audiences embrace the film as VV Vinayak has strong connect with masses!

First half of the film is nice with a good narration and an interesting screenplay. We expect the proceedings in second half to intensify as the climax progresses. The latter part of second half appears hurried up and is devoid of emotion. Director Krish should be appreciated for a brave attempt and for narrating a love story with WWII backdrop. On whole, Kanche is brave film with good technical values.

Plus points are Nithin, basic plot and a couple of thrilling episodes in the second half. The romance thread in the film offers no freshness. Though the length is 104 minutes, there is still a need to edit songs and a few irrelevant comedy episodes. The screenplay should have been more arresting. On a whole, Courier Boy Kalyan is an attempt to blend in family elements and romance to an interesting thriller story.

Both Allu Arjun and Trivikram are at high point of their career after delivering Race Gurram and Attarintiki Daaredi respectively. Hence, we expect another hugely satisfying film from their combination. Son of Sathyamurthy has got good intention and good moral values. But director Trivikram didn’t succeed in giving a smooth ride for us this time due to ineffective screenplay and too many characters (subplots too). The success of the movie depends on how family crowds lap it up.

Temper is a film about bad guy reforming himself. The episodes of bad guy are entertaining and episodes of good guy are intense. NTR plays the unique role of villain/hero in this film. Puri Jagan has brilliantly used supremely talented NTR to deliver a powerful film in the form of Temper. In spite of some illogical scenes and inconsistencies, Temper is one of the best movies of Puri Jagan and has the best work of NTR. On the trade front, Temper will be a huge hit with serious chances of breaking records. Go and watch it!

First half of the film is alright. Second half is engaging with entertainment. Climax should have been more impactful. Plus points of the film are Kalyan Ram and mass entertainment. On the flip side, it’s a normal story which we don’t expect from Kalyan Ram’s movies. On a whole, Kalyan Ram’s Patas has enough content to click with masses and general audiences.
-
Srikanth Addala who has delivered films with natural moments and undercurrent drama has upped the action quotient to deliver Mukunda. Mukunda is a film that deals with municipality politics and has a strange conflict point of hero upsetting villain for the sake of a friend. Plus points of the film are characterizations, dialogues, cinematography and actors (Rao Ramesh and Varun Tej). The flipside, screenplay and lack of direct conflict for hero/villain and passive romance thread dilutes the impact. We have to wait and see how ordinary moviegoer embrace the movie.
-
Rajnikanth movies are known for creating magic on screen with nice story and punch dialogues. Though the intention is to create a good content, the magic in Lingaa is missing. Plus points of the film are Rajinikanth, dialogues and characterization of Lingeswara Rao (pre-independence). The screenplay is uninteresting and direction should have been better. On a whole, Lingaa is for fans!

Current Theega is a colorful village entertainer that has something for everybody. You may watch it!
