• Just like the wanderers who throng Goa, there’s some vicarious fun to be had in Malang as it takes you into the colourful lives o a bunch of fractured souls aiming for nirvana.

There are enough highs to keep you engaged.

  • Bite this bullet only if you are fanatical about Khan and he can do no wrong in your eyes. For those who don’t wear those starry blinkers, sit this one out.

  • ‘Laal Kaptaan’ is strictly for Khan’s fans who dig his cerebral conversations in person and therefore will be easy on him.

  • …it’s a long feature. Clocking in at more than 140 minutes, it feels bloated at certain places. Don’t give up on the movie though. ‘The Sky is Pink’ is a keeper.

    Don’t miss it

  • If perfectly-timed stunts and explosions of souped-up cars can appease your soul, then give War a shot. Otherwise, it’s merely a battle of the brawny boys with questionable brains. The real casualty? The viewers who feel the trauma of sitting through this crazy action misfire.

  • ‘Mission Mangal’ is an out-of-this-world cinematic experience, but there’s a good chance that you will pivot around the women’s skills in this film.

  • While the context of groom kidnapping is a rich idea, it isn’t milked well by director Prashant Singh either. Take the plunge if you are a fan of Chopra and put a ring on it only if you are a glutton for half-baked ideas that don’t materialise fully.

  • While the message behind this film is laudable, it isn’t always exciting. If you are hoping that this movie will end with a big bang, you are mistaken.

  • Judgemental Hai Kya is a hugely satisfying, snappy thriller with its 1 hour and 56 minutes running time. Entering Bobby and Keshav’s muddled heads is a risk worth taking.

  • While the film doesn’t encumber you with a nuanced performance from its lead star, ‘Super 30’ scores high when it comes to a one-time watch about the deep divide between the haves and the have-nots.
