• There’s an urgency in RAHASYA that’s hard to define or comprehend. Manish Gupta, the director, seems to be batting like an out-of-form Yusuf Pathan in a T-20 match, trying to hit everything out of the boundary line, missing every delivery.

  • So much of money wasted in trying to tell a simple tale which required temerity not timidity.

  • … it is Neeraj Pandey who stands out because it is his genius that shines through. The rest of the cast just fall in line under his directorial baton.

  • CRAZY CUKKAD FAMILY could have been the proverbial rib-tickler if only the focus was on making us laugh!

  • If only he, director Bhushan Patel, had put in as much enthusiasm in the horror portion as he put in the lip-locks, maybe, this would have been a horror film.

But then again, someone falling in love with a conjoined twin just does not add up.

  • The movie lacks imagination just like its name! The only bright spot in this ‘oily’ film is Zayed Khan’s performance. The guy restricts himself well to play this ‘much-in-love’ boyfriend, who is sort of hen-pecked.

  • TEVAR is your average Bollywood masala movie which lacks imagination. The film runs on a thin plot on an accidental rivalry between Mathura ka goonda and Agra ka launda.

  • If only the makers had stayed true to the plot, this movie would have been easier on the mind and eye.

  • UGLY is fast-paced and stays true to its genre. If only Kashyap had got the timing of his release right!

  • PK is a simple film with a strong message-of love, peace and humanity. That is what every religion teaches us. If only we humans understand that. The message by Pope Francis last week [at the start of the review], aptly sums up the situation.

We all need a change of heart! It’s a pity an Alien has to teach us that!!
