Main aur Mr Riight is a tad too pretentiously philosophical to be taken seriously.

Exodus is bound to rile up believers but it will definitely bore skeptics as soon as the second half begins because although it begins with Moses rebelling, it offers very little insight.

Exodus is a good time-pass film. However, if you’ve watched The Prince of Egypt (1998), then skip this one.

Dumb and Dumber To seems to be desperately trying to carve out an audience for itself in a world that has moved on. Harsh as it may sound, Dumb and Dumber To seems to have been made purely because the studio needed to dish out something and this was probably the least-worst option.

Stale and struggling to remain relevant, Dumb and Dumber To doesn’t manage to be good enough to be applauded or bad enough to be laughed at.

Beauty and the Beast takes more time to establish the premise than an Ashutosh Gowarikar film takes to end. Set in a universe that is probably the lovechild of Katrina’s Choc On advertisement and those insipid 3D animated Barbie movies, Beauty and the Beast is all silk, velvet and jewels with insignificant things like subplots and emotions thrown into the mix. A classic case of bad editing and worse dialogue, Beauty and the Beast certainly is not a children’s film.

Once the initial wide-eyed worship of the filming process fades away, all that Boyhood leaves you with is a faint sense of nostalgia and not much else.

Fireflies is is one giant cesspool of sadness and agony that is ever-expanding and will engulf every barely happy soul it can get its hand on…

You’d be naive to go into this one looking for top grade acting or direction but if you have liked any adventure film starring Dwayne Johnson, then the Sunderbans are the place for you.

The film relies more on the two-minute noodle brand of patriotism than it does on common sense in order to further the plot. Featuring some adorable cameos from Anurag Kashyap and Vishal Dadlani and (yes, you’re reading this right) Sajid Khan. This could have been a much better film if only it had dared to move out of its comfort zone. Happy New Year is a film that’s bound to make you feel good, but trust me, the feeling won’t last.

A film that could have been a genre breaking masterpiece, Dracula Untold in its present form would be a more honest work of art if it were titled Dracula Unfortunately.

A fairly enjoyable way to pass an otherwise free afternoon, What If attempts to be different from the rest in the genre but fails to leave a mark.
