• When compared to Burton’s work, this one pales in comparison. If you haven’t seen his film, you are bound to find this wondrous, a journey worth taking for sure.

  • Just when the animation movies are no longer restricted to kids, this film based on a popular mobile app game may not appeal to all age groups. The birds are cute, but an unambitious storytelling sans twists and turns, makes this bird-watching unexciting if not tedious. The screenplay lacks depth and so does the conflict between characters.

  • John Abraham as the lean, mean, killing machine is perfect for the role of Kabir. It’s the execution and poor dialogue that makes this film a damp squib.

  • On paper, Teraa Surroor sounds like an edge-of-the-seat action thriller. However, the execution is far from it. Instead of mounting tension, which is crucial for this genre, the film is inundated with umpteen songs and romantic flashbacks that eventually kill the pace and continuity. The use and abuse of infinite Slowmo sequences is another issue.

  • Hansal Mehta captures the inner turmoil and unrest of Siras in the most understated manner. Most importantly, he gives Manoj Bajpayee the role of a lifetime and the latter infuses soul to his character.

  • Unless you are the type who must know who gets the girl in the end, you’ll probably skip this one. Enough of ishq for the week already!

  • Despite the flaws, if the story of a good-looking couple stuck in romantic situations at picturesque locations excite you, you can give it a shot.

  • Unless you consider Himachal as your Sanam, this heartbreaking tale on sacrifice and unrequited love, loses its plot and purpose somewhere along the way, re.

  • Despite the flaws, Sunny’s idealistic film exudes the sincerity and unbreakable spirit of a common man. If you mess with us, “We will find you and we will punch you.” Watch it.

  • The Boy is strange, odd and even awkward but we hope the sequel is truly scary… the real deal.
