• ‘Dhoom 3’ is big on style and completely delivers on the entertainment quotient. The fact that it comes at a cost of suspension of logic at times, I guess is a given. What rankles is that a film with Aamir Khan is expected to have some kind of coherence to rationale.

  • …not completely unwatchable but we have come to expect a certain class from Tigmanshu Dhulia and it is sad to see him sacrifice that in a bid to make a commercially viable film.

  • …is visually spectacular but the love story makes little impression.

  • … is a compelling story, intense and engaging, definitely a must watch.

  • ‘Boss’ just reeks of lazy filmmaking.

  • Ranbir alone makes ‘Besharam’ watchable, approaching this film with complete sincerity and proving that he can even make shoddy writing look good.

  • Ritesh Batra’s film is a winner all the way, an exceptional love story, where two individuals romance each other, much like the director romances Mumbai. A story like no other that will tug at your heartstrings and leave you misty-eyed. A story that is full of hope and is heart wrenching at the same time. A story that makes you want to break into spontaneous applause because it is incredible in so many ways.

  • …will entertain if you are willing to overlook its little indulgences.

  • …reeks of insensitivity and touches a new low as far as obscenity in Bollywood is concerned.

  • …the film forays into an unexplored grey area in most romantic relationships but it doesn’t really delve deeper. The protagonists never seem completely convinced about their feelings and may be that was intentional. How sure are we really of our emotions in a relationship? They tend to change over time. But then are modern relationships bereft of any kind of responsibility? Surely there has to be some accountability somewhere.
