After a disappointing Tubelight, where most of us hated to see Salman in his vulnerable, gullible avatar, the action star is back in his top form in Tiger Zinda Hai. What more? The film is more than just a r regular Salman Khan movie and it is totally worth your while.

That I don’t have to recommend the film to you just due to lack of Bollywood film options this week should tell you what you need to know about Fukrey Returns! While it would really add to your experience if you have watched Fukrey, but even if you haven’t, you can still go and enjoy a few laughs in this funnily mad entertainer. Watching the impeccable Vidya Balan perform on screen is a treat in itself. And when it is a story that has all the right elements to keep you engaged and entertained throughout, you have a winner at hand. Tumhari Sulu is one such film – sweet, simple, touching, highly entertaining and totally unmissable.

Ittefaq is a well made thriller in a long time. Watch it for some edge of the seat suspense, drama and mind boggling twists and turns.

Golmaal Again is not a laugh riot. But it has its moments of laughter, making it a fun and entertaining affair that can be watched and enjoyed with your entire family or gang of friends.

Saif Ali Khan’s film struggles to impress with the starters (the beginning), saves the day with the variety in mains (bittersweet emotional journey of food and finding true happiness, spiced up with some fun moments) and steals the show with dessert (ending). This experience of food and life’s varied flavours deserves a try.

You won’t be missing much if you miss Judwaa 2. It certainly doesn’t do justice to the original film and is definitely not one of the best performances from Varun Dhawan. If you still feel like watching it for the sake of nostalgia, there’s the original Judwaa on television at 7 pm today. Watch that instead.

Ditch Haseena Parkar without any guilt. You won’t be missing much. Save that money, order a pizza and cola and watch Once Upon A Time In Mumbaii, Shootout At Lokhandwala or Company instead.
