Adajania brings in an arresting story, great atmospherics, and memorable character superbly acted by the cast. All this with a sprinkling of some deliciously wicked humour. This little, big film is all heart. You shouldn’t miss it!

This film could have been much more, had the creature too been given more personality and heft. This is one of the few films where the antagonist must have as much substance as the protagonist. Here’s it’s reduced to being just a freak, a cursed lizard-man, out to devour people. Too bad, really.
-
The film is about the triumph of a person who makes it against all odds. Mary Kom is an important film that’s hugely inspiring. But more importantly, it’s also great fun to watch. Book your tickets, I say!
-
The film will seem monotonous for the most part, save the finale where you are at the edge of your seat for a few moments. In short, if you’re looking for Jannat rehashed with the crime-romance-drama combo, catch this one!
-
We have an interesting film with an inspiring hero, a menacing villain that you personally want to thrash, and a story that touches your heart. All this, and Rani Mukerji! More reasons to watch, than not!
-
On the whole, Anjaan is for those who seek unabashed entertainment and relish masala films.
-
This is a Rohit Shetty film, and that should be a genre in itself. You’ll get a film full of violence and a simplistic plot, that’s still watchable (even entertaining at times) for the actors, the few moments of genuine conflict and romance, and the earnest representation of the hero’s angst. Worth a watch, if you can be patient with the trappings of a formula film.
-
Disappointingly regressive and only sparsely funny, the only entertainment comes from the portions involving the dog. One wishes the film lived up to its name!
-
…what you get is an archetypal Salman film with the regular cliches, and a few moments of, err, kick.

A remake of Karthik Subbaraj’s Tamil hit film Pizza, this one seems pretty much frame-to-frame save a few changes. Debut director Akshay Akkineni gives us a film that’s more thrilling than frightening. Pure horror fans may be disappointed by the lack of genuine scares. But if you’re looking for a thriller with a supernatural element and a crackerkjack ending, this could be your pick.
