MAATR starring Raveena Tandon just pretends to make a social statement about rape and revenge and in reality struggles even to be a routine escapist film that does nothing significant for anyone involved. The makers have probably planned this probable money spinner banking on the popularity of their previous brilliant BABY and the movie doesn’t disappoint in entertaining the action thriller hungry souls of Bollywood and also gives a soothing nostalgia to the diehard BABY enthusiast. NAAM SHABANA is a decent bahana (reason) for Bollywood makers to start thinking on the spin off genre and churn some more interesting twist.

After NH10, the promos of PHILLAURI promised some fun but it sadly ends as a pun on itself in trying to do so many things in one film, a comedy that too supernatural one and an old fashioned romance that forces the friendly spirit to hang out from the screen wondering who is suppose to take charge of the proceedings.

Certainly not for the weak hearted, weak stomachs and entertainment hungry souls of Bollywood, TRAPPED is a triumph in Bollywood’s claustrophobic thriller genre that is masterly crafted by Vikramaditya Motwane and brilliantly acted by Rajkummar Rao. If you want to get rid from the ‘trap’ of the routine Bollywood thrills and have the appetite to try something different and new then get ‘TRAPPED’ at your nearest screens.
