• Just like the wronged common man like Naseer in A WEDNESDAY, Nirmal (Irrfan Khan) in MADAARI could have being the man to please the intellectual plus attract the others with its emotional depth in what we say a film for the classes and masses but Nishikanth Kamat’s ‘system’ of delivering (read helming) made me ‘wrong’.

  • GREAT GRAND MASTI is a ghoulishly unfulfilled and terribly ironic follow-up to the bawdy MASTI series that makes you feel bad for Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi and director Indra Kumar because they had not actually hit this rock bottom until they agreed to appear in it.

  • What cringes SULTAN for a rational/reasonable viewer is the maker’s complete surrender of novelty, and innovations in his sports drama, considering the banner YRF, which gave CHAK DE! INDIA the SRK starrer has now become a cult and is hailed as SRK’s best ever.

SULTAN fails to break such norms while bhai happily breaks bones in the ring to please his fans thus ‘dhobi pachad-ing’ (limiting) this to a highly predictable but harmless watch.

  • If you are still ‘carrying’ on reading this, I have good news to share. I was glad when the movie got over and you must also be glad now that this review is over.

  • SHORGUL is nothing but a hopeless political drama that gets played on our T.V. Channels just to fill the slot.

  • Those looking for a dark, de noire, and grisly time on screen with a twist in inhumanity powered by Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s topnotch performance. RAMAN RAGHAV 2.0 makes the kill. Hit it.

  • All said and done, UDTA PUNJAB is certainly bold, highlights a critical issue and is powered by prize acts, though it makes the ‘thinking’ audience show a sign of concern, it fails to make the ‘aam junta’ react the way they should have. But for those who look for something out of the box, dark, with a ‘kick’ of realisms, UDTA PUNJAB is your shot. Take it.

  • In the end, DHANAK may not be as lasting as Nagesh’s IQBAL and DOR but certainly this feel good road trip is worth taking a ride with your family. go for it.

  • …after lack of thrills and glaring loopholes like the silence of the child during the climax, TE3N is a watchable flick if you go without carrying the baggage of high expectations of a thrilling ‘Kahani’ post KAHAANI. It will struggle to make its space in the midst of the reigning blockbusters but those who hate crap in the name of entertainment and loyalists of Mr. Bachchan will find something for them this weekend.

  • DO LAFZON KI KAHANI has nothing much to say literally. Though the movie is faithful to its believe on love, the presentation lacks novelty. The makers should have understood that love is blind but lovers of good love story are not.
