The trouble with `My Friend Pinto’ is that it takes so long to get to the point where it starts to feel like a film that you almost give up. Characters tumble about, minus direction.

So what is it that actually tickles the funny bone in here? Definitely not Pinto’s slow and steady steps.

  • See this only if you are a Prateik Babbar fan. Else avoid.

  • On the whole, My Friend Pinto has little to endear it to the paying public. Given its poor promotion and dull start on the one hand and the dull pre-Diwali days on the other, the film doesn’t stand much of a chance at the box-office.

My Friend Pinto has a long way to go before he can befriend the audience.

  • The film could have been made into something relevant had it not focused on too many sub-plots. As far as comedy goes, the film lacks the punch. There’s nothing humorous about ‘My Friend Pinto’.
