…the story had potential, but lacks chutzpah in its making. Too much of sharafat and no play makes it a dull watch.

If you are looking for a concoction of action, romance and humour in small dozes, then the Sharafat Gayi Tel Lene is a perfect average time pass for you.

Even though the film’s director Gurmmeet Singh has tried his level best to weave a story spanning the life of a middle class working professional, the essence of the same still seems to be lost in transit. SHARAFAT GAYI TEL LENE is a strictly average film.

Inconsistent execution not withstanding, this funny little film actually serves up a few pleasant surprises.

The movie lacks imagination just like its name! The only bright spot in this ‘oily’ film is Zayed Khan’s performance. The guy restricts himself well to play this ‘much-in-love’ boyfriend, who is sort of hen-pecked.

The best thing about this film is its short duration. Otherwise, it is just a huge disappointment.

The film takes on the theme of greed and covetousness and turns it into a pleasant satire. A saucy comedy about a commoner’s brush with the ‘D’ gang, this is an original smile-inducing romp into the realm of comedy where errors define the mood ,and the characters are not as interesting as the situations that the script tries to create for them.

This is certainly funnier film than any other comedy this week.

Sharafat Gayi Tel Lene entertains only in parts and, given the very poor initial, it will fail to make a mark at the box-office.

With a sketchy narrative, unimaginative screenplay and apology of performances, Sharaafat Gayi Tel Lene barely has any merits to shout out for a pleasant watch at the theaters.

The film is not an over-the-top comedy and comes with unexpected twist and turns towards the end. Zayed Khan fans (if any) will find him likeable in this film. Watch it if you are looking for a light entertainer this weekend.
