‘Shootout at Wadala’ revels in its violence, yet sadly all the bloodshed leaves you unaffected and cold. I’m going with two out of five.

The dialogue, smutty and excessive, is poured heavily upon everything. Not as much bang for my buck as I would have liked.

Shootout At Wadala fails on all counts

The film is generally entertaining without attaining the sort of innate quality that could attract favourable comparisons with Ram Gopal Varma’s Satya and Company or Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s Parinda. But that could hardly be a reason to write off the film.
