Right till the end, the film's heart remains in the right place, whether it's the brief moments Peter can steal for MJ, the times he reaches out for someone to talk to, and the short sequence that shows he is ready to be what the film always intended him to be: Tony Stark.

'Spider-Man: Far From Home' is a lot of fun but more importantly, the film is also a satisfying continuation and way forward for the MCU, as Tom Holland proves he’s more than capable of carrying an Avengers’ film on his young shoulders.

The post-credit scenes in Far From Home are absolutely show-stopping, shining an exciting light beam on the next phase of the MCU. As long as Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige understands that superhero fatigue is a very real threat, the MCU is in good hands.

Far from Home could never and wasn’t really intended to outperform or trump Avengers: Endgame. But it’s a definitely earned a place in the MCU while being a fantastic sequel for Homecoming.
