That a film can so convincingly make light of an unbearable tragedy is its astounding comic achievement. What more low-down do you want: Just go ahead and load up on the guilt-free laughs!

  • If the film suffers it is mainly because of the budgetary constraints. Most of the film is restricted to the interiors as it probably wasn’t possible to shoot the film in Pakistan. With better sets and a wider variety of locations, the film would have been a masterpiece.

Tere Bin Laden is definitely a must-watch.

The actors are having a ball, that’s evident. The scriptwriter ( Abhishek Sharma) is just loving it: making digs on America’s war against terror. And the viewers are in for some breezy fun. Savour the satire.

On the whole, TERE BIN LADEN is a fun-ride that makes you smile constantly and even laugh outrageously in those two hours. A thorough entertainer, this film has all it takes to not only make its viewers laugh in the aisles, but also its investors laugh all the way to the bank.

  • TERE BIN LADEN is ‘laden’ with many humourous moments. It is by far the funniest film in recent times. A must watch.

  • …the film is not made with much flair; it is very simple in its execution. There are no fancy camera tricks or overly glamorized sequences. What you see is what you get with Tere Bin Laden but believe me, it is enough to keep you glued to your seat. Watch it for the fun it pokes at a number of serious issues that we normally feel are taboo. Tere Bin Laden is a film that is fearless enough to take on those issues, add the fun spin and make you go ha-ha-hee-hee!

  • This is the only ‘light’ release of the week. Must see it for the effort. If not for anything else, to promote small films and encourage fresh ideas.

  • Debut writer-director Abhishek Sharma gives the audience a fresh, wicked comedy, that’s unapologetically defiant. Now either you can frown at the political incorrectness of it all, or laugh along with the audacious humour.
