The convoluted plot, stilted dialogues and their delivery do not make for an entertaining watch. The humour is forced, the insertion of blood and gore meshes poorly with a film seemingly meant for children, and the pan-India approach feels confused and unconvincing.

VIKRANT RONA fails to impress due to the poor script, direction and long length. The film has too many characters and most of them don't have much to do rather than add to the suspicion, or rather confusion, so that viewers keep guessing who the culprit could be. In doing so, the viewers don't enjoy doing the guessing game. Rather, they get frustrated.
