Bollywood Life's Film Reviews

While the story of Laal Rang might have faults, the performances, humour and authenticity largely makes up for it. Syed Ahmed Afzal’s earlier film Youngistaan had a novel concept and so does Laal Rang. Despite hiccups, the film touches on important aspects like how money dictates life and love in today’s times.

Though it has some bold quotient, Love Games is quite traditional at heart. Every character has a justification about why they behave in that manner. Patralekha’s acting, a tight screenplay and editing are the highlights. Those who just want to pass time for a couple of hours won’t be disappointed with this one.

If you love modern art and abstract paintings then Fitoor should appeal to your senses!
-
Sanam Teri Kasam had potential in the form of two promising debutantes Mawra Hocane and Harshavardhan Rane, but a regressive script and over the top direction killed it from becoming more than just another tragic love story.
-
Watch the film only for the impressive performances of Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar. However, if you are looking for a good thriller, you might go disappointed!

Ira Dubey plays the most interesting character in the fractured plot. She is an ambitious TV journalist chasing that one last scoop before her parents marry her off. This character deserves to be in a better film.

If you have an appetite for a slow-paced love story with philosophy, you’re probably going to like it but if, like me, you go in for some action to unfold, you’ll be extremely disappointed.

Overall, Mortdecai is truly a huge let down!
-
Crazy Cukkad Family is definitely not one of the best comedies but of course you could go and watch it once for the sake of strong performances that have miserably drowned in this lame plot!

Super Nani is a family film. But we do not recommend to watch Super Nani with your family. Instead go to the theatres with your friends and have a wonderful time laughing your heart out at corny dialogues and a ridiculously outdated plot.
