The Accidental Prime Minister is a different film and one must laud the courage to pick up something so controversial. However, it needed better execution to make a real impact. It is a definite one time watch with its breezy narrative, superb casting and of course Akshaye Khanna who shines like a diamond. Does it redeem the image of Dr Manmohan Singh? Aamir Khan and his team thugs you of your peace of mind in this senseless spectacle that crumbles under its own weight

For someone who does not know how espionage actually operates, Vishwaroopam 2 is fairly engaging stuff. The London portion has a bit of history infused in it, which is genuinely interesting. However, the film is flat and fails to excite as much as we hoped it would.

Diljit Dosanjh’s Soorma has it’s moments and the actor-singer puts in an earnest performance. You will fall in love with his extremely supportive uncle and parents. However, given the fact that Sandeep is not as widely known as some other Indian sportsmen (read cricketers), a more fleshed out story would have been far more engrossing.

Missing keeps you hooked but it is largely due to the camerawork, crisp editing and Tabu and Annu Kapoor’s performance. The film is let down by bad dialogues. While Mukul has succeeded in building some truly suspenseful scenes, the film loses steam in the last 15 minutes. At the climax, you know what to expect but the treatment isn’t bad. It leaves you unsatisfied thinking it could be have been a lot better.

Dil Juunglee lacks the intensity, which could make it rise above the mundane. The actors are in good form but that is about it. If you want to kill time and see some gorgeous visuals of London, the film should suffice.

Juvenile story-telling, melodrama and an shaky lead actor does not take Haseena Parkar to the level, it was expected to. And what is the point of revisiting a female don’s life if the story fails to thrill. Sorry Shraddha, Arjun’s Daddy left its mark better…

Overall, the film is an opportunity lost, despite Ajay Devgn’s aura, Emraan Hashmi’s charisma and Ileana D’Cruz’s great performance, it’s a botched up job at best.

A Gentleman is neither ‘Sundar’ nor ‘Susheel’ but turns out to be a ‘Risky’ affair for Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez. The film has nothing going in its favour and can be easily avoided. In plain and simple words – It’s Boring.
