Hugh Jackman's final Wolverine film changes the face of superhero movies forever. It's the farewell the most iconic X-Men character deserved.

Hugh Jackman is at his finest as Wolverine, one last time...

Logan humanizes the  super-hero to a level of supreme surrender . We have never seen a comicbook hero who is so vulnerable and so challenged by a 9-year old girl who is played by a child who has the ability to project herself as much older than she actually is, without seeming precocious. We've never seen a hero so ready for the fall.We probably never will.

Watch it, for sure. It offers hope for the X-Men franchise yet. The future, despite the bleak one painted by this one, is one you're not going to forget in a hurry. A superhero film that entertains and makes you think? Rare breed, I'd say.

If you've grown up watching the X-Men movies then Logan is a story that just cannot be missed. The film does have a generous amount of gore and splatter. But the whole blood soaked approach is what makes this movie such a dark and fascinating experience.

Logan is a class apart in superhero dramas. Raw emotions and action power this film.

You don't have to be a comic superhero fan to enjoy this movie — watch it for the outstanding performances by Jackman, Stewart and Keen. This one's a gripping finale to Wolverine's indomitable journey.

While the thematic content and the philosophies may not be consistent throughout, the intent and execution to provide a richer deeper experience is obvious. This is a wonderfully rendered goodbye to an awe-inspiring generation of mutant superheroes who kept our cravings for justice and righteousness alive and well. My guess is we won't have to wait long before the young lot (featured here) move to centre stage and prove themselves cinematically worthy. It's a given!

Logan is an emotionally satisfying film which bids a gracious adieu to the superhero.

There are a few digressions in the film that, though dispensable, seem to exist to dwell on the quasi-familial setup.

It's a movie for those who, in the 17 years since the first X-Men film arrived, have grown up, and are ready for a stiff, un-watered-down drink

Logan is simple proof of just how much good an R-rating can do for a film. Because haven't we all dreamt of how great it would be to watch Wolverine REALLY use his claws? In James Mangold's Logan, Hugh Jackman's much older Wolverine, who despite saying he's left behind the world of violence, leaves a body count higher than all of his previous movies combined. He also swears a lot, has an alcohol problem, and is consumed by rage and bitterness.
