Bollywood Life's Film Reviews

If you are a Vishal Bhardwaj fan, let us warn you that this might not be his best, but we bet you’ll see another kind of a storyteller here. And yes, he does deliver a movie that is embedded with fine performances from the cast and great visuals by cinematographer Pankaj Kumar and that makes the movie deserving of a watch despite its flaws.

If you want to see an inspiring story into which great effort has been put in to make it as real as possible, The Ghazi Attack is definitely for you. Also, there’s Kay Kay Menon.
-
It’s not a film that you must watch but if you do, you’ll definitely enjoy it. It’s a must watch only if you’re a Jackie Chan fan.
-
Go for Vidya Balan and Arjun Rampal’s performances. And it’s taut narrative by Sujoy Ghosh. This will surely keep you hooked.

Dear Zindagi will definitely appeal to you if you love slice of life film. A little bit of trimming here and there would have been good, and it is not a typical Bollywood movie. However that shouldn’t stop you from not witnessing one of Alia’s best performances and SRK being his charming best.

This film is a must watch for all the film lovers. It is one of the few Indian espionage thrillers on the India China relationship and it isn’t too preachy. Go for this one and you’ll be hooked for sure till the end.

I cannot watch the movie multiple times but if you are a Potterhead, you must definitely watch it once.

Go watch it! It’s everything you expect from MCU and yet it’s different. I just can’t wait to see Doctor Strange’s banter with Tony Stark in Avengers Infinity War, oh that would be EPIC. Also do wait till end credits. An Avenger might surprise you. Just Saying!

While this one is clearly a Sex And The Village that many girls might enjoy, it’s not gonna leave you with a feeling of elation as it’s more like a chick flick for the rural audience. You might like it but it won’t make you go ‘woah’! After watching Pink and having high hopes for some more of hard hitting women centric films, I was very disappointed. One time watch would be enough for this film.

Despite several flaws, The Shallows is still a thrilling experience thanks to a few high-tension moments and Blake Lively‘s fantastic performance. Though not in league as Jaws, this can still qualify as the second best entry in films where shark plays an antagonist (though I admit my guilt of having enjoyed watching Deep Blue Sea more than this… My bad!).
