• Raanjhanaa is an interesting, entertaining and a fairly different love story and will do very well at the ticket windows. It is like heady wine and its effect will only grow. Dhanush will be loved in the film.

  • On the whole, Ghanchakkar is not half as funny as it ought to have been. Since it doesn’t make the audience laugh or even smile much, it will fail to make the distributors laugh all the way to the bank. In fact, it will find the going at the box-office tough and will entail losses to all concerned.

  • Enemmy is a dull show all the way and will not be able to make too many friends at the boxoffice. Losing.

  • On the whole, Shortcut Romeo is a dull fare which fails to involve the audience. Flop.

  • Had the drama been more compact and linear, the film would’ve been far more universal in its appeal. The post-interval portion, especially, is long-winding and, therefore, boring. .On the whole, Barfi! is a heart-warming love story which is different. It will be loved by the class audience and the city-based public, especially by those who frequent multiplexes. As for the masses of the single-screen cinemas and the audience in ‘B’ and ‘C’ class centres, they would not find the film as satisfying.

  • What’s Good: The action sequences; the stylized cinematography; the snappy editing. What’s Bad: The ordinary story; the unnecessarily confusing script; the lack of an emotional connection between the audience and the protagonist; the absence of chemistry between Saif and Kareena’s characters; the laughable climax.Verdict: Agent Vinod is a bold experiment gone wrong; certainly not something that entertains in its entirety.Watch it only if you want to see an Indian spy movie. But be warned that it comes nowhere closer to the Bond or the Bourne series of Hollywood films.

  • What’s Good: The farcical comedy and the outlandish characters that work very well; the post-interval portion; good performances; two songs. What’s Bad: The ordinary first half; the less developed romantic track; the other songs, besides the two good numbers.Verdict: Chaar Din Ki Chandni is an entertaining and enjoyable fare which will keep the audience in splits.Loo break: Not really.Watch or Not?: Watch it for feeling truly refreshed with the mad-hatter comedy.

  • What’s Good: Hardly anything!.What’s Bad: The juvenile script; the poor performances.Verdict: Will You Marry Me? will lose the box-office battle.Watch or Not?: Watch it if you want to know how things can go wrong with a film.

  • What’s Good: The performances. What’s Bad: The very restricted appeal of the script; elements of the screenplay which are not convincing; the lack of hit music.Verdict: London Paris New York will not work too well in India.Loo break: Not really.Watch or Not?: Watch it for a different movie experience.

  • What’s Good: Several comedy scenes; the hit music; the family drama; the emotional drama. What’s Bad: Some clichéd comedy scenes; lack of justification for the love angle. Verdict: The entertaining second half and the hit music save Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya and make it a plus fare for Tips and UTV. Loo break: A couple in the first half.Watch or Not?: Watch it for getting entertained.
