• Durai Senthilkumar made an impression with his debut Ethir Neechal.The comedy particularly clicked. It was a down to earth film for the most part that turned cinematic only towards the end.But the stakes are different for Kaaki Sattai. Both for him and the hero.

  • If you feel the goodwill of Rajini’s onscreen character Lingeshwaran help grow the brand aura of real-life Rajini, you know very well the movie has worked on you.

  • An interesting premise and a definite welcome addition to the diverse nature of films that has been hitting the screens recently. A little more tightening of the screws and the bark would have been more loud and clear.

  • …provides a rather pleasant journey with very few speed breakers. The problem is that neither the drama soaks us in completely nor the suspense angle, that despite being maintained throughout, brings us to the edge.

  • The movie deserves a lot of credit for taking a social cause and delivering it sincerely with just the right amount of commercial elements. This is a movie Vijay, AR Murugadoss and entire Kaththi team should be proud of…Go, Watch Kaththi!

  • Logic and Yaan are mutually exclusive terms. But that will not be a problem if the film is entertaining enough. Sadly it is not so, barring the pleasing visuals. Replace the second ‘a’ in the title ‘Yaan’ with a ‘w’and that is what the film offers you.
