• Heropanti has its drawbacks but manages to hold the audience in the second half. And more importantly, it does spring two talents to look out for. Tiger, with his innocent looks, should work well with the girls while he could be a valid action star. He may not have his father’s voice but he has his style for sure. It would be up to him to make the right moves from here.

  • I must say The Xpose is a complete paisa-vasool project. It was one of the rarest of its kind – the so bad that it’s fantastic! I suggest go and watch it alone. You might make some new friends in the theater while laughing hollow at the film. A ticket is after all really inexpensive in comparison to new friendships!

  • You only wish they used as much work on the screenplay. The film, with a close to one-and half hour second half after a relatively shorter first could have been much shorter if worked on with precision. This is where the director loses way and then there is no looking back.

Buy a ticket? No! Definitely not when there are infinitely better films releasing in the same week!

  • Yeh Hai Bakrapur has a very interesting premise. However it falls short of becoming a really good film. It will make you smile nonetheless at the inane situations that can actually become a reality in the country.

  • Purani Jeans offers nothing new in terms of a story and is fine example of inept direction. Avoid it. The story of Purani Jeans is at best ‘purani’ (old) and pretty stale. You could revisit Dil Chahta Hai and Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara if you are in a mood for male bonding films. Else there are definitely better films at the theaters this week.

  • …is a totally avoidable fare. I could not help pleading, Ya Rab, reham! [Oh God, mercy!] Random Youtube videos make better sense than this.

  • …could have been much simpler and better film, one capable of touching your heart. Instead it ends up as a classic example of a director gone wrong in his attempt to bridge the gap between social and commercial themes.

  • The screenplay is in slow motion! Heartless is almost like anesthetic awareness. I felt the pain throughout but could not do much about it.

  • At interval you realise that One By Two is not going anywhere. And by the end the story just about takes shape. But by then it has already lost any attention that it may have managed to grab. Because midway through all you have is this song banging into your head and it continues – I am just pakaod.

  • …the script in itself is more a sitting duck refusing to help the hulk-like Salman push the film anywhere close to what a film with a proper Salman-script combo could have. Our word – Salman Khan fans will love this film and others might just about be entertained, but to expect this film to be the next Munna Bhai is a Utopian thought.
