• YOUNGISTAAN has an interesting premise, a mature act by Jackky Bhagnani and importantly, the message it conveys is just right. The writing could’ve been sharper, but having said that, this movie is worthy of a watch.

  • On the whole, DISHKIYAOON misses the mark!

  • …offers laughs, but only in bits and spurts. It’s disheartening to watch a wonderful concept go awry!

  • …a heart-rending tale that ought to be told. It’s a film that’s sure to jolt you, take you out of your comfort zone, set you thinking about the plight of millions of kids pushed into the flesh trade. Additionally, the message Nagesh Kukunoor conveys in LAKSHMI reverberates much after the screening has concluded.

  • …has ample scares, a generous dose of skin show, a winning soundtrack and of course, a sensuous Sunny Leone to spell S-U-C-C-E-S-S. This second helping is much more scrumptious and delicious than the first. Go, get spooked!

  • …springs a pleasant surprise. Watch this wonderful slice of life film for the super performances of Rishi, Ayushmann and Sonam, watertight writing, skilled direction and dollops of humor.

  • …reinvents the genre with its non-formulaic screenplay and skilled direction. A charming little film, this one’s made with heart and feeling and it shows. Absolutely recommended!

  • …appeals in bits and spurts. You expect a laugh-riot, but what comes across on screen is half-baked.

  • …is well-intentioned with several powerful moments, especially towards the second half. The game of power and politics is well captured too. Additionally, the bravura performances of Madhuri and Juhi add immense weightage to the film. Watch it!

  • …a delicious take on contemporary relationships. This one’s relatable, heart-warming, amusing and thoroughly enjoyable!
