The film makes you yawn in few portions but it soon recovers as the director manages to get it back on track.

Baar Baar Dekho is about getting a chance of changing the mistakes in life without making them. But really, I can’t think of one thing I’d like to see changed in this film. Except maybe Sarika’s prosthetics when she plays dead. Someone overdid the mother’s wrinkles.

There are timeless love stories and then stories involving time travel. BBD belongs to the latter. Pleasant and fairly engaging but a tad tedious (like mathematics) to evoke a Baar Baar viewing.

‘Baar Baar Dekho’ is all about enjoying your present moments and not calculating or thinking too much into ‘what will happen in the future’.

Although not a typical Karan Johar type film, Baar Baar Dekho deserves to be seen for its music, glamour and unusual theme. Jumbled up screenplay and dragging second half might put off the audience.

This is no baar baar dekho, which means to watch again and again. Reserve this for a one-time watch.

If you have to settle for a half-baked story for the sake of all this,  I say it ain’t a bad bet.
