very nice action scenes ,exciting special cars

Move over banal movies. The baap of all movies arrives and how. It will be weeks or maybe months, before people will get over it. And that is not any time sooner. F&F7 has taken the world by storm and this is not going to stop, not by any standard if the crowds in cinemas is anything to go by.


First about the story. After defeating Owen Shaw and his crew, Dominic Toretto(Vin Diesel), Brian O'Conner(Paul Walker) and the rest of the crew are able to return to the United States and live normal lives again as they had wanted. However, Owen's older brother, Deckard Shaw(Jason Statham), is after Dom and his crew, seeking revenge for his brother's death and putting the entire crew in danger once more. After learning of Han's death, the crew sets out to find the man who killed one of their own, before he finds them first.


The story is nothing. Bu the action is simply superb. And the cars are just out of this world. Imagine the cars are flying after rolling out of the plane. It's too grand to be put in simple words. Some movies are just to be watched rather be read about. F&F7 is one such movie. Vin Diesel has out-performed himself. One can't get enough of this guy. He is the Salman Khan of Hollywood. Well, at the end of the movie, one can shed tears for Paul Walker. But, what the heck! Amidst cars, babes and action, this blockbuster glory has taken over the world. You will watch this movie more than once. For once is not enough.


Last but not the least is the entry of our Indian'hero' Ali Fazal(28) in an Arab avatar. The cameo is just three scenes but it is a welcome change(much better than Anil Kapoor's pompous'blink-n-miss' role in 24). It is welcome because this is a hardcore action movie and to get this much space is awesome. Till now, only boring artistic Indian characters were played out Naseeruddin Shah or Irfan Khan. F&F7 opens roads for commercial Indian characters. There is genuine hope for Indian actors in Hollywood now. Kudos to Ali. Atta boy!


For the uninitiated, Furious 7(Fast & Furious 7 / Furious Seven) is the sequel to the 2013 film Fast & Furious 6 and the seventh instalment in the Fast & Furious film series. With the previous three instalments being set between 2 Fast 2 Furious(2003) and The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift(2006), F7 is the first film of the series to take place after TD. Paul Walker died on November 30 2013, with filming only half-completed. Walker's brothers Caleb and Cody Walker were used as stand-ins to complete his remaining scenes. F7 released in 3D internationally. Noel Gugliemi reprises his role from the first film as Hector, a street race organizer. Iggy Azalea makes a cameo appearance.

THE FUTRE IS F&F: In March 2015, Vin Diesel stated that the eighth film will take place in New York with Kurt Russell's character, Mr. Nobody, having a larger role for this sequel. Helen Mirren has expressed interest in appearing in the eighth installment. Dwayne Johnson has expressed interest in future films in the series and stated that there are plans for a spin-off film featuring his character Hobbs, but that it would not be filmed or released until after the seventh film is released. Ludacris has expressed interest in a spin-off with him and Tyrese reprising their roles as Tej Parker and Roman Pierce.


After watching it, couldn't sleep the entire night, dreaming with open eyes of the dynamic action. Would like to watch it second, perhaps third and definitely the tenth time. Can't get enough of the movie. More power to F&F.

Finally stitching together the third film and its sequels, the plot takes you on a revenge game from the antagonist's side. The Toretto-O'Connor family has developed over the years, and the sentimentality is all over the place, giving the plot a considerable dose of melodrama. But the past is back to haunt them as Shaw (Statham) is vowing to avenge his brother's free-fall from that never-ending runway in the sixth film. Starting with an attack on Hobbs (The Rock), Shaw visits Dom and gang from time to time like he's an insurance agent coming in for monthly checks. All he does is arrive, talk, shoot few bullets and beautiful grenades, and leave.

Then the plot drifts to a side story about a hacker who is being pursued by a dumb marauder. Unfortunately the primary bad guy (Statham), as one can possibly detect, has a screen space less than that of the Indian lad Ali Fazal. He is vindictive, agreed, but switching ON and OFF between the scenes is equivalent to a show without a villain. It mostly looked like that Dom and his gang are fighting and driving for nothing. That is confirmed when in the second half you see all of Hollywood crammed into one big setting, where all rules of science, logic, and common sense go take a hike. The second biggest problem with the plot is that Hobbs, who as an anti-hero changed the way the audience saw The Fast & The Furious series evolve, is left out. It was a delight watching him in the last two films, but in here, he is not even given his fair share of comedy. Tyrese may make you laugh with maintained humor, but he definitely overdoes it.

However, fans expecting explosions WILL get explosions. After tanks and freighters, here we have flying cars and buses fit with machine guns. The action goes couple of notches higher, with breathtaking (is the right word) sequences helped by beautiful photography. The camera work is better due to the use of slow-motion stunts. If you take the advice I have mentioned in the summary, you will find delight in watching these scenes that unfold in the first half. Second half is tedious and draggy. With a climax that lasts an eternity adds further boredom to the viewing experience and makes Hollywood look like Bollywood. Even the music is a let down.

The character of Letty (Rodriguez) was best left dead, because she is one player causing sameness in the film. With that silver Christ locket exchanging necks and hands more than a regular one dollar bill, it would have been wiser to prune the family business. Diesel is fine, Statham is badly cast, while Walker is purportedly the man of the show. A glorious tribute at the end closes the show with a tear.

BOTTOM LINE: Watchable, because it very well defines what the franchise is all about - ones and zeros as in binary which relates to fear and loyalty as in family. So, limit your brain and experience the high-octane drama. 6/10.

Seventh installment (and not the LAST installment) of the movie series hits bang-on in theaters worldwide and how the franchise-fans will keep themselves away from it?! It’s a must watch to give tribute to Paul Walker.
First things first, The movie was dedicated to Paul Walker, the 40-year-old actor passed away in a car crash in 2013 and the screenwriter Chris Morgan expertly worked around with the screenplay to overcome the effect of Paul’s absence. Use of body doubles for him in some scenes, involvement of Paul’s brothers Caleb and Cody happened to complete the movie, because whatever happens, Show-Must-Go-On! All the star-cast absolutely looked like a family and as a team in the film, same as the dialogue goes by Vin Diesel in the movie, “I don’t have friends, I got family!”
Story: Simple and subtle story of extracting a Hacker named Ramsey out of a villain’s hand and using the system named as God's Eye used to discriminate Deckard Shaw; who is brother of Owen Shaw who was a villain from Sixth movie. Deckard played by Jason Statham taking revenge and destroying each one of the guy who made Owen Shaw, a cripple. This theme goes hand-in-hand with cheesy dialogues, car stunts and fighting, with babes, car races, chases and explosions, etc. In short it delivers all the typical Fast And Furious Franchise outcomes for the viewers, plus it gives PaisaaWasool Entertainment. The movie finishes off with the perfect way of video montage compilation of flashback scenes from all previous movies as a tribute for PAUL!
Nothing is impossible when CARS (Very Fast Cars) comes into picture! They can fly, they can create music, they can kill, they can rob a bank, they can win your heart, and they can overcome the laws of gravity and physics. Perfect formula to create Box-Office records.
The timelines from Tokyo Drift and other movies crosses over with appearance of Lucas Black from third movie, Tokyo Drift.
Technicalities: Strong technical techniques were used to overcome the limited and wafer-thin plot. The complete “Air-Drop” scene is well choreographed the best action sequence amongst all action sequences. Car ignition sound editing and mixing is now a piece of cake for the franchise, so it was also plus point. Fighting sequences choreography is bit shaky sometimes with camera jerks but has enough importance as story is concerned.
Reason to watch: Craze for the franchise and star-cast.
Reason to avoid: ........ I don’t think any!
