• If you like being horrified at things such as lack of logic or Bollywood films ‘paying tribute’ to their Hollywood counterparts, Horror Story is for you.

We like Vikram Bhatt’s brand of horror but this Horror Story was more silly than scary.

  • Engaging in fleeting moments, Horror Story might appeal to those who get scared easily.

  • Horror Story lacked the fearsome flair which makes good spook stories. It can’t be called a disaster but will easily be spelled as rough copy of innumerable flicks! It isn’t massively crackling or overtly brilliant, but you’ll manage to squeak and shriek in bits! I am going with a 2/5 for the film. There’s just one line I have to say here – C’mon Bollywood, show some extra ordinariness in this genre, we can’t make such poor copies of popular flicks all the time!

This particular genre has become incapable of throwing up any surprises, it is perennially old wine in old bottle. Occasionally, the label varies.

ikram Bhatt has finally nailed it. Horror Story is a confident film. So confident, in fact, that early into the movie one of the characters asks another if this is just one more “ghisi piti kahani” that they’re getting into.
