Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum Reviews

Unfortunately these are only a few shining moments in what is otherwise a crass, unfunny film. The comedy here is puerile, and likely to be enjoyed strictly by teenagers who've never watched 'American Pie'.I'm going with one-and-a-half out of five for 'Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum'. It's not that the humor's adult that is the issue here, it's that it doesn't make you laugh!

The film wants to be racy, but has television-friendliness forced onto its very being: which explains actors dropping their jaws at the (suggested) mention of genitalia and constantly hiding behind clumsy innuendo. Even a man reading Playboy isn't allowed to open the pages of the magazine, but flip it over entirely to reach the cover of the next issue. The covers, you see, are safe-for-Hindi-film-work.

Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum becomes a drag within the first twenty minutes and then continues for another two hours or so. Before you are done, you will have to suffer Chunky Pandey in a hideous wig, playing a fake godman named Baba 3G, and Tusshar Kapoor in drag wearing eyeliner, lipstick and a gown with a plunging neckline.

The film is ostensibly targeted at the teen segment and it might even find some takers there. But it barely passes muster as a sex comedy. It’s crude, crass and completely clueless.

Kyaa Super Kool Hai Hum might not be the best sex-comedy ever. But then how many of the rare species do we have in Bollywood? So support the cause and enjoy as long as it lasts.

Kya Super Kool Hai Hum amuses you intermittently but largely leaves your brains in a tangle, and the mind gasping for breath. In other words, dimaag ki macho deta hai.

Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum has some really good laughs, but the second half can be a tad disappointing.

On the whole, KYAA SUPER KOOL HAIN HUM is sure to get the affirmation nod by its target audience -- the youth. Despite the sexual tone, adult jokes, impish humor, the movie, at no juncture, gets offensive, distasteful or objectionable. In fact, it's one big joyride from commencement to conclusion. This one is for the masses, for youngsters, for those who loved part one and enjoyed its crazy hilarity. KYAA SUPER KOOL HAIN HUM offers entertainment, entertainment and only entertainment in large doses!

Is super hilarious in bits and at some points, dips deplorably low. Actually to the pits! The parts that really pull the movie down are with Chunkey Pandey who is able to make a billionaire (Anupam Kher) believe that a Pug is the reincarnation of his mother even while his daughter Anu Marlo (Sarah Jane Dias) cries hoarse telling him to chuck out the fraud. Chunky has some really sad situations and lines that present him more like a monkey!

Sex comedy is a genre not much used in Bollywood and the novelty factor works in favour of Kya Super Kool Hain Hum. While the film goes the whole hog in terms of shamelessness and is delightfully unapologetic about it, what disappoints is that it limits itself to a series of puns and gags when it had the potential to be much more. A one-time watch for its sheer outrageousness.
