Tiger 3 sparks to life only intermittently. Salman Khan is looking his age, but the good thing is that he isn't hiding it.

Solid action can't mask a script too thin to satisfy.

Critic consensus
Critical reception for Tiger 3 is divided, with reviewers split between moderate appreciation and outright disappointment. The action sequences and a relatively coherent story drew some praise, with a few critics noting the film feels more narratively grounded than earlier entries in the YRF spy universe. However, several reviewers found the script surface-level, the twists predictable, and the emotional stakes underdeveloped, while at least one critic called it a substandard entry that undercuts the franchise's earlier goodwill.

Tiger 3 is overlong, overheated and over the top, but Salman Khan's star power and the film's spectacle prove there is always purchase from an irrepressible hero leaping off perches and landing on his feet. It is a film that, for the most part, stays on the rails.
Film review
Tiger 3 has Salmania written all over it with lots of seeti-maar moments.
Film review ·
The film looks stylish, slick, but little overlong. Only if it had more thrills and tension and less talking. To be a human and a hero together requires conviction, but Tiger 3 isn't able to juice up the emotion and the amalgamation.

Tiger 3 suffers from a problem many Indian spy films in the past have also gone through. Everything about the film is surface level: the script, and even the direction. The twists and double-crosses invoke indifference and as an audience you can predict them with ease.
Film review ·
The biggest USP of Tiger 3 is the story by Aditya Chopra developed into a screenplay by Shridhar Raghavan. Tiger 3 goes against the template of spy films established by YRF in the last few years, as this one is driven by a coherent story that brings it all together and even closes a lot of loops. The action sequences are taken to the next level, as it's unlike what we have seen in Hindi Cinema before.

'Tiger 3's weakest moments are hidden in the gaps of a somewhat weak story line. The India-Pakistan premise feels a bit outdated and the idea of an Indian agent going all out to save the life of the neighbouring country's PM feels a tad bit stretched. Despite an over crowded spy universe, Tiger manages to hold his own ground.
Film review
'Tiger 3' qualifies as a good addition to the franchise with enough ammo for mass entertainment. Despite its expected storyline and reliance on established spy movie tropes, 'Tiger 3' navigates a delicate balance between showcasing patriotism and overdramatising it, with high-octane action and breathtaking cinematography that captures the scale of this globe-trotting espionage saga.
Film review
In absence of novelty factor and sparkling wit, Pathaan's return of favour doesn't evoke the sort of hysterical applause my ears were dying to be deafened by. Tiger 3 recklessly runs from pole to pole without any real direction or drama, with a serious scarcity of dynamic action set pieces in a franchise that models itself on Hollywood style action.
Film review
Tiger 3 is a substandard product which is best at flaunting the looks. It ruins the legacy of one of my all-time favorite actioners – Tiger Zida Hai! Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan has spoilt us, and I don't think even Salman Khan fans would accept such a substandard product.

Tiger 3 is massy, masala and must watch not because it's a masterpiece, but because it's not everyday you see two superstars (Khans) sharing screen space even if that's for a little while. The film doesn't let you blink with its over-the-top action, decent performances, mind boggling twists and a gripping screenplay, though the inconsistent pace and stretched runtime are problematic.
