Peddi
2026 · Firstpost
This film is the perfect embodiment of what happens when too many cooks and too much masala spoil the broth. Peddi is a muddled sports drama that suffers from a mishmash of multiple genres thrown into one narrative, with an objectified Janhvi Kapoor inserted only for crowd-pleasing tactics. Only if the film knew how not to be distasteful and rescue an engrossing idea from a forgettable palimpsest, it could have worked.

The Rajasaab

The Raja Saab is more than just a horror comedy or a larger-than-life ode to the stardom of the leading man. It's a film that also talks about family bonds and the battle with mental illness.

This film is also about the free spiritedness of music and not just the monstrosity of the hideous creature. It's more than just a survival drama.

Disclosure Day

It may not dazzle as vibrantly as ET or Jaws, one cannot deny the importance of the story the filmmaker tells with neat effects. And the cherry on the cake is Emily Blunt.
