Fighter

Fighter is a film about loving your nation, though that's a secondary concern. It is, first and foremost, a film about loving Hrithik Roshan. Siddharth Anand directed two of the most visually compelling action films of recent years, War (2019) and Pathaan (2023). Fighter offers impressive visual fidelity, seamlessly blending real-world aircrafts with what must be computer-generated models in the trickier scenes. However, the dialogue writing is painfully off, and the film's one-note triumphalism and sentimentality dampen the fun.
Murder Mubarak

Murder Mubarak demonstrates how simple it is to make a decent whodunit. The trick, as ever, is not in the cleverness of the plot but in the array of rascals and refuseniks we meet along the way. If all fails, there's Tripathi in a golf hat and glasses.
Animal

Sandeep Reddy Vanga's protagonists — thick-headed creatures of privilege and entitlement — are all badly-behaved men who could easily pass for monsters. Yet no matter how bleak and paleolithic his view of human instincts, he also wants us to stand in awe of his heroes, even admire and empathise with them.
OMG 2
2023 · The Hindu
OMG 2 is a better film than Ram Setu— it has the candour and charm of fantasy — but it also resorts to predictable Macaulay-bashing near the end to explain the flaws of Indian society. The film could have been shot and edited better (the CGI, too, looks shabby).
