This Bhaijaan is running on empty. A tired, unimaginative amalgamation of every Salman Khan version.

A hollow, overlong remake that even Salman Khan seems bored by.

Critic consensus
Critical reception for this Salman Khan-led remake of the Tamil film Veeram is largely negative, with most critics finding it overlong, narratively incoherent, and formulaic. The most consistent criticism is a weak, logic-free screenplay stretched across a punishing runtime of over 140 minutes, with several critics noting that Khan himself appears disengaged. A small number of reviewers, writing largely for fan-oriented outlets, found it passable festive entertainment, pointing to action sequences and cameos from Venkatesh and Ram Charan as minor highlights. The majority, however, regarded it as a hollow recycling of familiar Salman Khan tropes with nothing new to offer.

Neither delivers the goods because the star falls between two stools and plummets to an all-time low. KKBKKJ, directed by Farhad Samji, is an insufferably ham-fisted affair that does not generate a single moment that could be regarded as passably entertaining. A bad film is a bad film. KKBKKJ is beyond bad.

KISI KA BHAI KISI KI JAAN is a perfect Eid gift for Salman Khan's fans.
Film review ·
Salman Khan, like always, rules the screen with swag and ultimate presence with the combination of dumdaar dialogues and massy action sequences. Director Farhad Samji perfectly weaves the narrative with some amazing family moments, emotional drama, peppy songs and hilarious punchlines and situations. Once again, Salman Khan delivers a perfect Eid treat to his fans.
Film review
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan isn't Salman Khan's best work, but the movie is the perfect festive release. Overall, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is a treat for Salman Khan fans and an entertaining family entertainer for moviegoers.
Film review
It's a wafer-thin plot that tries to achieve a lot but doesn't really end up going places. The problem is that it entertains only briefly. Too many characters, an unimpressive soundtrack, and most of all a weak screenplay that doesn't match up to Salman's star power is what lets the film down.
Film review
He's not the Salman Khan the audience wants to see; he's the Salman Khan he thinks the audience wants to see.
Film review
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ka Jaan is one heck of a banal and boring ride, spending its 144 clueless minutes on awkward romance, dreary melodrama, dowdy faceoffs and a forcibly squeezed in song every few minutes for the lamest of reasons. Salman sleepwalks through a part that reiterates stereotype as his favourite genre.
Film review
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan has all the ingredients of an entertainer-- action, drama, romance, and comedy which is the pattern of Salman Khan films. Especially Salman Khan's entry and Venkatesh's fight, and Ram Charan's cameo make it worth watching.
Film review ·
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is a no-brains family entertainer led by Salman suitable for nothing other than a cringe-binge hatewatch. The film has no sense, no logic, no story to blow your mind, and at 144 minutes, it is painfully long and stretched.
Film review ·
Farhad Samji's remake of the Ajith-led Tamil film Veeram (2014) has the feel of an unruly picnic where everyone is invited. The spread includes all the elements typical of a Salman Khan movie, but in more judicious quantities than in his previous few outings. This helps, since there are almost no new discoveries.
Film review ·
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan brims with the usual Salmanisms. The performances are defiantly, doggedly below par. Salman doesn't even try. It's 143 minutes too long for a Salman-Farhad Samji combo.
