It’s a consistently enjoyable film that’s more surefooted than its predecessor, and while it’s never groundbreaking, you will break into plenty laughs.

Having delivered a surprise hit with 2015 film Ant-Man, director Peyton Reed again banks on the fact that the biggest strength of his Marvel superhero is his ordinariness and likeability.

While the titular superheroes get busy making a go of it, Ant Man’s feel for wit and goodwill peppers the proceedings.

Most of it is a consequence of Lang’s delightful dependence on old pal Luis (Michael Peña). Peña continues his scene-stealing comedic streak along with a loony crew. Gags involving truth serums and Russian folklore figure Baba Yaga inject Ant-Man and the Wasp with such infectious merriment; the smile stays on long after you’ve left the theatre.

‘Ant-Man’ and the Wasp is the Marvel underdog that scores big, replicating the nature of the ongoing Football World Cup. It also explains why Lang didn’t join the Avengers in Infinity War. Watch it!

All said and done, Ant-man And The Wasp is a worthy upgrade. It’s entertaining, funny and full of stylish action. A must watch for MCU fans & wait with your bated breath in the end.
