I found a giggling amount of comedy in ‘Bengal Tiger’. Focus on the funny bits. It won’t matter if you doze off for the rest of the film though.

Ravi Teja once again plays it to the gallery as Bengal Tiger might impress just the front rowers. Though mildly entertaining at times, the plot is so done to death and predictable that it tests your patience. I mean how many times can you seen the same film over and over again! Watch it only if you get free tickets!

The scariest thing about Bengal Tiger is that it might end up becoming a hit due to Ravi Teja's following in the masses. If that does happen, God save us from a spate of similar movies. And if it doesn't, there's still hope for Tollywood.

Goofy entertainment, thats what is selling in Tollywood at the moment. Thats why Sampath Nandi has decided to place a series of fatuities against each other, to make an incoherent mess called Bengal Tiger. This so called commercial entertainer suffers from generic storytelling, situational comedy and rarely raises above the fallible conception. All in all, Bengal Tiger is a kind of film that constantly remind yourself that there is a Sunny and beautiful world outside the cinema hall.

“Bengal Tiger” is an action comedy film that has all the commercial ingredients such as comedy, romance, heavy-duty fighting sequences, etc. Ravi Teja’s energetic performance, punch dialogues, few songs, some rib tickling comedy scenes in the first half and Raashi Khanna’s skin show are the big attractions of the film. Even though the film has a routine story, the engaging screenplay makes it an interesting watch.

On the whole, Bengal Tiger is a typical Ravi Teja mark entertainer. A full on entertaining first half, glamour quotient and well executed mass elements are huge assets for the film. If you manage to go in well prepared for a serious and emotional second half, Bengal Tiger will end up as a comfortable watch this weekend.

But in the second half he lost the plot added mass elements alone with dragging scenes and overdoing forced comedy scenes. Had he thought something new rather than routine twits and ending, he could have taken Bengal Tiger to another level. His screenplay and direction is quite good in the first half but the same deserted in the second half. However his dialogues left masses craving for more. Bengal Tiger attracts with Mass Roar...

Raviteja's energy, Prithvi comedy and a largely entertaining first half are the high points of Bengal Tiger. Mass audience may enjoy this for the above factors and the heroines liberal skin show is a bonus. Audience that are fed up of watching the same old drama in each and every film may not be able to sit through the second half without complaining about the fuss. Bengal Tiger has chances to score in B and C centers but as a film it will go down as yet another routine fare.Verdict: Roaring First Half, Boring Second Half.

Compared to recent Ravi Teja's movie, Bengal Tiger is more entertaining. The first half of the movie, Ravi Teja's antics, and Prudhvi are its strength. Second half should have been better. A regular mass entertainer with severe stress on comedy and glamour show is what Bengal Tiger is all about.
