There’s not much to Bajatey Raho beyond its characters. More than a plot, Bajatey Raho is a series of gags and not all of them work equally well. But the film has strong acting performances and at 107 minutes, it doesn’t waffle around. Had it been longer, your patience could have worn thin. As it is now, you’ll walk out with a silly grin on your face.

  • Not much the cast can do to salvage this one. Bajatey Raho would be your option this weekend only if you consider there is no other major Hindi release.

  • Bajaate Raho had a whole lot of potential. Sadly, not all of it was realised.

The film turns out to be clichéd and largely choppy: an idea by itself is never enough, it’s what you do with it that counts.

On the whole, Bajatey Raho is a dull fare devoid of entertainment value. It neither entertains with its comedy nor thrills with its action and drama. Flop.

…it ends up as an unconvincing, unfunny, and yet another movie looking to cash in on the Delhi-milieu wave.

On the whole, BAJATEY RAHO is quite entertaining with an absorbing second half. Decent entertainer!

  • ‘Bajatey Raho’ isn’t particularly clever; in fact it reeks of lazy writing. But given the poor standard of recent Bollywood comedies, it’s far from unwatchable. I’m going with two-and-a-half out of five. Alas, it could’ve been so much better.

  • Bajatey Raho is uninteresting and illogical with an overdose of forceful laughs. On a loosely woven narrative, the comic value is dampened by a slack pace. It is shame that such wonderful actors were so ruthlessly wasted. I am settling for a benevolent 2/5. I went in expecting wit and came out feeling bewildered. Bajatey Raho will Bajao you and hence it is better to refrain than to complain.

  • Bajatey Raho does not play it right. Off-key and overly contrived, it is a pretty ordinary effort that is not even mildly engaging.

Predominantly Punjabi-flavoured, the film is one of those of linear, comic capers with a slight drama that makes you smile, though the situations and characters are cliched.
