Ferrari works as a film. It’s a story of reaching for your dreams, of endearing father-son relationships, and of moral lessons that aren’t preachy. It’s a formula that rarely fails — the sort of feel-good movie that makes for perfect Sunday viewing with the whole family.

Rajesh Mapuskar does succeed in extracting decent performances from the entire cast. Sharman Joshi, as an uncertain and shy guy with a constant smirk on his face that tries to hide his inner sorrows, skillfully underplays his part. Occasionally he seems too passive but is still likeable.

All these factors combined with a tear-jerker of an ending makes Ferrari Ki Sawaari a full family entertainment flick. It is a good way to spend your weekend and definitely your money’s worth.

On the whole, FERRARI KI SAWAARI is a noble film, a film that has its heart in the right place. It’s well-intended and sincere and it goes about its business with incredible earnestness. Of course, the film has its share of hiccups, but then all films do, right? But keeping the fault-finding apart, FERRARI KI SAWAARI is an accomplished effort. It’s that exceptional film that communicates a point and tells a sensitive story in those 2.10 hours. This heartwarming, tender and sprightly film should not be missed!

FKS is a fun ride. Fathers too busy with their work to attend to their kids ‘growing up’ emotional needs will get an ‘education’.

Ferrari ki Sawaari assures an entertaining ride throughout although it is more bumpy than it should have been. Nevertheless, such clean, heart tugging movies are fewer to come by which is why I would ask you to not miss it. I am sure the kids will love this Sawaari!

A film, which has childlike ambitions as its fulcrum, needs to be seen with the eyes of a child, they say. ‘Ferrari Ki Sawaari’ comes across as mesmerising if the Dickensian footholds of reason and logic are dropped for some time. As a film which has the game of cricket as its scaffolding and thriving ground, the usage of a car belonging to the iconic cricketer might not be a phenomenal tribute, but is quite laudable. The producer and director of the film – Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Rajesh Mapuskar, have successfully pulled off their offering to the God of Cricket.
