• The film, ultimately, rushes towards its hasty, unpredictable resolution that feels unconventional merely for the sake of it. I’m going with two out of five for ‘I, Me Aur Main’. At less than two hours, it’s hardly a slog. But you can’t help feeling like real potential was squandered.

This could have been a slap-up rom com. But the trouble with this good-looking movie is that it is patchily written and performed, and often feels contrived.

  • I Me Aur Main falters with its plot, does a mild disservice to the ladies and is unreasonably forgiving of its protagonist. If you can get past that, it’s a film you wouldn’t mind watching once.

  • Chitrangada strikes the right notes for the most part and Prachi Desai lends a bubbly energy to a few of the scenes. Both Zarina Wahab and Mini Mathur bring a touch of warmth to bear upon an otherwise hopelessly soggy film.

On the plus side, I, Me Aur Main has the glossy good looks of a TV ad – on the downside, it stays there.

  • I Me Aur Main is a flashy attempt to bluff audiences by putting together obviously beautiful actors in ornate celluloid frames in order to conceal a weak plot and shaky screenplay. Lock up your brains and ogle happily, in case you decide to go for the film.

I, ME AUR MAIN is a decent watch. More for the urban youth!
