Justice League is a much better film than Batman vs Superman and even though it’s not THE superhero film of the year, we recommend you go watch it for the love of your favourite superheroes.

It is an ensemble of poorly built characters who band together to stop the villain from annihilating the world.

  • The only positive aspect in this extravagant jaunt is the post-credits scene which promises something worth keeping your interest in this franchise. At this point, however, any hopes for this getting better in quality are very low.

  • The dark seriousness of ‘Batman Vs Superman’ may have taken its toll I guess. The few engaging moments here and Gal Gadot, aren’t able to lift this nearly incoherent, noisy and short-fused experience to gratifying. This may not be a ‘Suicide Squad’ but it’s certainly no ‘Avengers’ either!

  • Fisher makes most of his defined backstory, Momoa is pure swagger but it’s Ezra Miller’s goofy charm and spontaneous humour in a Spidey-Stark reminiscent equation with Batman that evokes the maximum laughs.

They are the only reason why nearly two hours of Justice League’s blobby structure, sullen palette and superfluous battles are all right to endure.

While the characters and their camaraderie is fab, the plot is incoherent and flat.

The film’s smartest move is to recognise that Gal Gadot is the beating heart of this enterprise.

It’s the sum of all its predecessors’ parts; as grand as Man of Steel, as murky as Batman v Superman, as messy as Suicide Squad, and as hopeful as Wonder Woman.

Replace your skeptical lens with 3D glasses, and cheer along with your childhood heroes; ‘Justice League’ is made for the fans, and if you’re one, you’ll have a lot of fun.

  • Justice League is like a baked cheesy- potato dish, which has no nutrition but you can’t resist its temptation. A decent follow-up to disastrous Batman vs Superman, the film still has hope to get better, only if they let Wonder Woman to lead and not any other way around. Watch it for all the five years of excitement and to see the team standing against the sunset- a scene that will definitely bring the cartoon series nostalgia back in some form. Oh and also for the ‘promised hope’, that is lying somewhere inside the series; we just need a Patty Jenkins to find it and execute in next one.
