I’m going with a generous two out of five for ‘Khiladi 786’. Akshay Kumar fans may not complain. The rest might prefer the company of an aspirin.

In the end, I was left looking at a straw to clutch. Any little thing. I found, dear viewer, none. Not. A. One.

If I wasn’t so exhausted, I would have been offended. Box office figures suggest that many people enjoy this school of cheerfully moronic cinema, but Khiladi 786 really isn’t my idea of a good time.

This is a wannabe funny movie, an assault on our collective intellect.

All said and done, Khiladi 786 is not half as bad as Joker. But is that saying much?

If you are one of those who tries to make sense out of every movie, mind you, this is definitely not your kind of a film. The movie can only be fun if you leave your brains at home. I

If you want nothing more than an enjoyable action-comedy without much sense, give Khiladi 786 a watch.

Watch the film if you swear by Akshay Kumar. If you don’t, you’d be ill-advised to go into the theatres.
