S/O Satyamurthy Reviews and Ratings
-
… is a predictable and sloppy family drama with a few high and mostly low moments.
-
When you come out of the theatre, you will be hard-pressed to remember a single good dialogue from the film. Not something we expect from Trivikram. The film is also stretched unnecessarily.
The first half drags a bit. Instead of entertainment, loads of melodrama is forced upon us, but there is no emotional touch in it. The second half, meanwhile, is like a typical Srinu Vaitla comedy.
-
With below average content, S/O Satyamurthy will have to rely upon external factors to sail through to a safe zone. Holiday season and no big releases until three weeks gives enough space for the movie to do decent business at the box office. End result of the movie will depend upon how the families embraces it.
-
It’s a family entertainer sans memorable heroism. The second half will work with a good many number of audience. No big-ticket movies from Tollywood in the offing, this one might make a windfall.
-
The film has its moments but falters badly with its plot.
-
Bunny and Trivikram is probably the nicest combination apart from Trivikram and Pawan Kalyan. They seem to be in sync and Trivikram’s dialogues go perfectly well with their body language and on-screen persona. So, SOS is yet another attempt at cashing in on this awesome synchronization between the director and his hero.
-
Both Allu Arjun and Trivikram are at high point of their career after delivering Race Gurram and Attarintiki Daaredi respectively. Hence, we expect another hugely satisfying film from their combination. Son of Sathyamurthy has got good intention and good moral values. But director Trivikram didn’t succeed in giving a smooth ride for us this time due to ineffective screenplay and too many characters (subplots too). The success of the movie depends on how family crowds lap it up.

If you’re looking for a film that has a good dose of entertainment with good family sentiments, then this movie is for you. Trivikram and Allu Arjun will not fail to entertain you with this film.

After Julayi, Allu Arjun-Trivikram Srinivas jodi has struck gold yet again as they have managed to dish out a clean entertainer, which will satisfy both masses and classes. The film has all the elements of blockbuster hit, neatly packaged into a refreshing film. Take your family out for a weekend treat to watch S/o Satyamurthy as a clean family, fun filled film has arrived after a long time.
