Despite the loose ends in the script, it’s Shreyas Talpade the director along with the aura and charisma of Sunny Deol, a great performance by Bobby Deol that keep the film floating and entertains you throughout. The film doesn’t get preachy at all and yet delivers a message even if it’s half baked. Watch it for the funny jokes and the chemistry shared between Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol and Shreyas Talpade. You are in for a blast.

Overall, the film is an opportunity lost, despite Ajay Devgn’s aura, Emraan Hashmi’s charisma and Ileana D’Cruz’s great performance, it’s a botched up job at best.

A Gentleman is neither ‘Sundar’ nor ‘Susheel’ but turns out to be a ‘Risky’ affair for Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez. The film has nothing going in its favour and can be easily avoided. In plain and simple words – It’s Boring.

Indu Sarkar shows an India which had to fight for freedom twice. That makes it a must watch.

The question is, Can Marvel ever go wrong? Well the answer is NO, I don’t think so. They know the tips and tricks of how to play to the gallery and successfully churn out an entertaining blockbuster. What’s commendable here is they have done it with a superhero who is already a hit with the fans and have been played twice before in last 15 years. Watch the film for its non-stop entertainment and humour, for Tom Holland and Michael Keaton, for MCU finally getting a good villain after Loki and…well it’s MCU, you are gonna watch it, anyway. This is the Spider-Man we were waiting for all these years.

Yes, the humour may not match up to your expectations and it may seem a little too preachy. But if you are in the company of a young kiddo, you wouldn’t have much problem with it. It’s totally meant for kids.

Film may have its flaws especially in the first half but to quote Robert McKee from one of my favourite films, Adaptation, “The last act makes a film. You can have flaws, problems, but wow them in the end, and you’ve got a hit.” Watch the film for its performances mainly by Riteish, Vivek, Vikram and Bhuvan. If you can survive through the first half, the film will surprise you and how! Watch it.

Wonder Woman ‘the film’ is to DCEU what Wonder Woman ‘the superhero’ was to Batman and Superman in the climax of Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice, ‘The Saviour’. The film works for its performances from its lead cast and mainly for the godly Gal Gadot. Hats off to the director Patty Jenkins for showcasing an untapped side to a superhero genre. The film will make you laugh, cheer, excited and will eventually leave a lump in your throat. If not for anything watch it just for Gal Gadot. She indeed is a ‘Wonder’ Woman. This one just saved the sinking ship of DCEU. Highly recommended!

The original TV show was no Breaking Bad, but it had that iconic status because it delivered what the audience wanted then in the pre-internet era – sexy lifeguards running slo-mo on the beach. This Baywatch ends up as a painful and confused tribute to that series that no one asked for. It needed more laughs, more sexiness, and more Priyanka Chopra in order to be a passable affair, in the least. Unfortunately, it’s not. Disappointing!

In my opinion Jack Sparrow shouldn’t have returned as this was an insult to his legend. After watching the film, my reaction was similar to that of Henry Turner, when he sees Sparrow for the first time – disappointed. Watch the film solely for the majestic Javier Bardem and his performance as the undead Captain Salazar. In fact it won’t be wrong to call the ‘lifeless’ Captain Salazar, as the ‘life’ of the film. I give it a generous 2.5 stars, half extra for Bardem and that well executed, resounding climax.
