Mana ShankaraVaraPrasad Garu

Mana ShankaraVaraPrasad Garu

2026 · Filmfare

While the security subplot in this movie feels dated and the second half loses momentum due to a monotonous villain arc, the film is eventually anchored by Chiranjeevi's charisma and Anil Ravipudi's brand of humour. It may not reinvent storytelling, but it brings Chiranjeevi back to familiar cinematic territory, one where he is at ease, flamboyant, and undeniably entertaining.

Peddi

Peddi

2026 · Filmfare

Peddi is an honest effort from both actor and director, but it struggles under the weight of weak character arcs, an undercooked supporting cast and a central theme that never quite receives the treatment it deserves. Ram Charan, however, delivers the kind of performance that can elevate a career's trajectory.

The Rajasaab

The Rajasaab

2026 · Filmfare

While The Raja Saab attempts to blend mystery, horror, and humour, it works only in parts. Given Prabhas's stature and past performances, the film ultimately turns out to be a letdown.

Maa Inti Bangaram

Maa Inti Bangaram

2026 · Filmfare

Samantha Ruth Prabhu shoulders a film that has more box-office potential than its predictable narrative suggests. While the first half is filled with clean comedy and revolves around family drama, the second half unfolds in an expected and tedious manner, diluting the essence of the narrative.

Anaganaga Oka Raju

Anaganaga Oka Raju

2026 · Filmfare

Anaganaga Oka Raju is a crackling entertainer that thrives on Naveen Polishetty's impeccable comic timing and infectious energy. While the premise is well-worn, it gets a contemporary touch thanks to Polishetty's biting satire and self-aware humour.

Sing Geetham

Sing Geetham

2026 · Filmfare

Sing Geetham is a refreshingly unique musical comedy that blends environmental consciousness with a whimsical, Chandamama-like fantasy. While the film does not fully exploit the surreal possibilities of its fascinating premise, its sincerity, originality, and musical spirit make it a pleasant and worthwhile watch.

Akhanda 2: Thaandavam

Akhanda 2: Thaandavam

2025 · Filmfare

Akhanda 2 has high-octane action sequences but falters from underwhelming writing and patriotic fervor. Fundamentally, this film suffers from underwhelming writing. The film treats logic like how China treats its dissenters.
