So it all boils down to the final word. Do you watch it or not? Of course you do. Just make sure silliness in films doesn’t offend you. If you like parodies and light-hearted romances Ajab Gazabb Love has all the trappings to make you feel happy.

I went in without expectations but came out thoroughly impressed and entertained. This indeed is Ajab Gazaab Love!

Gadhvi’s attempt to please the family crowd doesn’t shine in the manner the audience and he would have hoped. The script doesn’t have anything too novel to offer and in addition to that the screenplay and lead pair aren’t as impressive as they ought to be when you’re trying to impress audiences with a film based essentially on a love story. Film trends are such that releases that can be enjoyed by the entire family are scarce and AGL may just be able to cash in on this scarcity. Don’t walk in with expectations of path breaking or flawless cinema and you may just not be too disappointed.

Films where the hero assumes another identity to win over the girl, and that uphold traditional family values, are part of the contrived clichés club and no longer relevant.

This film is all about a bunch of people going bananas, yet, it doesn’t leave you in splits. But if you care for a few giggles, go watch it.

There is nothing ‘ajab’ or ‘gazabb’ about this extremely ordinary rom-com. If you go in for the film with expectations, you might be disappointed. But if you go in with nothing in head, you would have a smile at the end of it all, if not be baffled by the performances. Plus Kirron Kher’s rock solid funny act deserves a watch!
