Hate Story 4 Reviews and Ratings
-
As erotic as changing a light bulb…
-
Overall, Hate Story IV is an engrossing tale despite its predictability.
-
What follows is murder, blackmail and revenge. But you need not worry about that because these elements are mere fillers. The film is primarily about heaving bosoms, in-your-face breasts and umpteen steamy sex scenes.
-
There’s murder, double-crossing, plot twists, smart alec-y attempts and even a fist fight. And after the director is done with his titillation, there’s a very detailed explanation offered for all of it. Try as it might (and it really, really does) Hate Story 4 ends up more comedic than thriller.
-
Watch it if you’re a die-hard fan of the franchise and would ‘hate’ to miss this story.
-
Overall, even if you are a fan of this franchise we would recommend you to avoid this bizzare erotic thriller and wait for a better one instead.
-
Don’t give the makers any more reasons to make another erotic thriller! Skip it.
-
The fourth in the ‘Hate’ franchise, this film like its other tales has lingerie, shaved manly chests, moans and suggestive hip thrusts, whiny song or two, high heels, pancake makeup, bearded men who snarl at each other, murders too and foreign locations… The acting is so poor your nerves will be jangled. Supposedly erotic, the on screen kisses will put you off kissing for ever.

The film is largely shot in London. Hashtag International Embarrassment!! You wonder where the money comes from that the franchise is now in its fourth international sequel? Well there were twelve other people who decided to begin their Friday mornings watching Hate Story IV. You figure now, how?!
-
If you’ve been through all the Hate Stories, you can survive this too. Don’t go for it expecting anything other than some good skin show and few twists and turns.
-
The only thing more fake than this concern for women is the simulated sex in Hate Story 4. Spare us your bogus conscience, please.
-
Watch Hate Story 4, if you must, for Rautela, Bhatena and Wahi. And, of course, Gulshan Grover, who while having nothing much to do in the film as the duo’s ‘affluent’, ‘tycoon’ father, does entertain with his presence.
-
Watch Hate Story IV only if you are an ardent follower of the franchise, else it’s not a good pick this weekend.
-
The plot of Urvashi Rautela, Karan Wahi, Vivan Bhatena and Ihana Dhillon starrer Hate Story 4 is a steady stream of hot bods. And acting, what’s that? The film has no ambitions that-a-way, so there.
-
Hate Story 4 is nothing more than a failed attempt to titillate the audience, but you know what totally killed me? Urvashi Rautela being really happy in a scene and saying, “The Oscar goes to…”
She meant herself.
You deserve better than this. Respect your intelligence. So much hate may ruin all the good things in your life.

Hate Story 4 serves up a lot of twists and turns but it’s all too predictable. Most of the clever story reveals are let down by the fact that there’s just too much erotica on offer. Director Pandya presents the movie in a slick package replete with the swanky London setting. The music though doesn’t work out at all. The cheap thrills really let down the punch of the story and the women-friendly climax.
