ZID is a very average thriller which has no stellar performances or a meaningful storyline.

Zid is a psychotic thriller that will surprise you with its gripping plot and keep you hooked till the very end. Moreover, the convincing roles and a high sensuality quotient make the film entertaining and worth a watch.

The film has a bad story, some erotic scenes, bad acting performance. In short, there is hardly anything good about the film. Don't waste you hard earned money on this unintentionally funny film.

Take an aspirin before walking into this one. Twists and cuckoo-ness apart, it's curiously not that much of a suspense story. You kinda figure that out in the first half itself.

The performances are forgettable and flaws scream out loud. The climax tries to shock, but leaves you shaken and wondering - whose zid was this anyway? As the case comes to a painful close, a guy sitting next to me exasperatingly said, "It's time for a standing ovation." I rest my case.

...the writing just doesn't engage you like a thriller should. It tries the known hooks that horror movies usually opt for when they know they can't keep you involved - cleavage and sex. Tells you how confident the makers were in the story they had to tell, which incidentally they try to boast about - their narrative capabilities. Unfortunately, it shows a lack thereof.
